4 Stars!  I have to say I really enjoyed this book. It was written very well. The characters were wonderful. I felt for all of them. It is a story of first loves, true loves and everything in between. How one person can be torn in two. How much sorrow can one person handle? How long does one need to heal? While reading this story you watch Sam (Samone), Alec and Emmett go through many things and how it ends. What each one of these charcters have lost. 5 Stars!  When I wasn't reading it, I was thinking about the characters, wondering what was going to happen to them next and how they'd handle it. For me, the most awesome part of this book was the many twists it provided. You will not see this stuff coming! I think Darnell handles heartbreak extremely well--it's something we've all felt at one time or another. It is a pretty universal human experience.
